Healthy Breakfast Shake

Combine the following ingredients into a blender:

COMPLETE

  • 1 cup Rice or Soy Milk
  • 1 scoop Juice Plus+ Complete
  • 1 Tablespoon Brewer's yeast
  • 1 Tablespoon Golden organic Flax seeds (grind them in a grinder or high powered blender)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen berries
  • 1/2 cup water

Note:

  • Brewer's Yeast is one of the best sources of B complex vitamins (great for stress). Ensure you use Brewer's Yeast (not Nutritional Yeast)
  • Flax seeds are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, lignans and fiber.

Tip:

  • Serve and consume immediately to enjoy the most nutrition.



Red Cabbage salad

Ingredients:

  • ½ red cabbage - wash the cabbage, remove the white core and shave into thin slices
  • 4 shallots - chopped
  • Handful of fresh basil leaves – chopped
  • Half red capsicum – chopped
  • Half cup raw sliced almonds – dry coast the almonds in a pan until lightly golden

Method:

  • Combine all ingredients into a large salad bowl.

Dressing:

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Tamari (wheat free Soya sauce)
  • Dijon Mustard

Mix the dressing ingredients together to taste. Toss dressing through the salad and serve immediately.

Tip:

  • It's best to dress the salad immediately before serving, so hold off on dressing any leftover salad until ready to eat.
